We do not, if we're being honest, immediately think of Holland when the topic of chocolates come up, but the fact is that some of the best chocolates are Dutch chocolates. Many of us are not very aware of Dutch chocolates only because they are not readily available in the U.S. Of course, you can get anything online these days, including Dutch chocolates but we notice things not when they are online, but when they are in front of our face. So we have taken it upon ourself to tell you all about the wonderful world of the soon-to-be-famous Dutch chocolates.

The name to know for Dutch chocolates is Droste
This company has been around since 1863 and one of their claims to fame is that they produce luxury Dutch chocolate at reasonable prices. They have a large variety of products to choose from and are continually coming up with new shapes and flavors of their delicious gourmet chocolates.

Droste is one of the few producers of Dutch chocolates that can be found in more than 70 countries around the world. Their latest bar called Superior comes in two different flavors and each has no less than 75% real cocoa. This level of cocoa is comparable to that found in the finest of European chocolates. They also offer wonderful gift boxes filled with their delectable which make a wonderful and very unique gift for any chocolate lover eager to try something new and delicious.

There are so many truly fine chocolate producers out there from all over the world that many of us have yet to try. But, they each deserve a chance to pass your palate. We all know and have tried the famous Belgian chocolates, but when was the last time you tried German chocolates? Open your mind to chocolate and you might just find a new favorite!
