Chocolate Martini

Looking for diet chocolate drinks? Well, consider this.

Getting your fix with a chocolate martini
There are so many ways to get your chocolate cravings satisfied. If you are a real lover of chocolate then you have most likely tried a great many ways already. But there might just be one that you have let out as it has not yet caught on in a very big way. Next time you have guests, or even if you are alone sitting in the backyard on a lazy summer evening, why not mix up a chocolate martini? They are a perfect treat for after dinner while watching the stars and a great way to get a party started. We are all accustomed to gatherings where your standard wine and beer are served, but any guest would be very pleasantly surprised to be handed a cold chocolate martini upon entering your home!

A good way to make your chocolate martini is to use 6 parts vodka to one part chocolate liquor. First combine the ingredients in a glass full of ice to chill the liquids. Then simply pour it into a chilled martini glass. A chocolate martini can be garnished with a curl of chocolate, milk or dark, or maybe a Hershey's kiss, or a small piece of dark or milk chocolate broken off from a bar.

There are a few tips that can add to the chocolate martini . First we would suggest that you use a clear liqueur so that your chocolate drinks have a cleaner appearance. When using a darker colored liqueur the final result can look rather dirty and not very appealing. Another variation on the drink, if you like a sweeter drink is to use a vanilla vodka. The drink itself, like any martini is rather strong and can be softened by using the vanilla vodka. Make it a Godiva chocolate martini by using Godiva's very own chocolate liquer!
