	<title>Chocolate Drinks</title>
	<description>
Chocolate drinks come in many forms, including those that are do not have alcohol as well as those that do. Here we'll explore both types. Perhaps all you really need are some diet chocolate drinks?

Non-Alcoholic Chocolate Drinks
The first time you probably ever experienced any kind of chocolate drinks, they were probably one of the following: chocolate milk, a chocolate milkshake or hot chocolate. In most cases, the thicker and/or darker the better. Chocolate milk can be made using chocolate milk mix in powder form or by using chocolate syrup. The more you add to a glass of milk, the more it tasted like chocolate. Yum! With a chocolate milkshake, just add more ice cream to make it thicker. And with hot chocolate, use warm milk instead of hot water for a thicker hot chocolate.

Your favorite chocolate drinks were probably chocolate milkshakes and hot chocolate. Here's how to make a good milkshake: Mix 1 cup of milk, three cups of softened vanilla ice cream (you can also use chocolate--YUMMO!) and 1/2 cup of chocolate drink powder in a blender.

The best way to make hot chocolate is to follow the recipe on a can of cocoa. Stir together 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cocoa in large, microwave-safe mug. Stir in a few tablespoons milk to make a smooth paste, then fill stir in 3/4-1 cup of milk.

Alcoholic Chocolate Drinks
When you think of alcoholic beverages, beer and wine or maybe a mixed drink comes to mind. If chocolate drinks come to mind at all, you probably think of an Almond Joey or a Mudslide from TGI Friday's. But there are other drinks that use chocolate liquor such as a chocolate martini (and all its variations). The ingredients of a chocolate martini vary depending on the bar you're at, but most of them start off with chocolate liquer and vodka. From there, bartenders get creative. Some add cream, some add coconut rum, some add vanilla vodka instead of regular vodka....the list goes on and on.

Chocolate Drinks with a Kick
There's one more class of chocolate drinks we've failed to mention to this point--chocolate coffee drinks. There are Mocha Swirl Lattes, chocolate iced coffees, chocolate cappuccinos, chocolate frappuccinos...etc. Since these drinks have coffee, they obviously give you a boost. And chocolate has caffeine too (although not as much as coffee) so it's like an energy drink. What a way to start the day!
